So, a little backstory on this post. When I was writing what I thought was going to be my masterpiece as an author, but turned out to be an extremely poorly-received disaster that I’ve left up only so it may serve as a warning to others, I would, before writing, literally imagine myself sitting down with the character whose perspective the story was being told from, and listen to them tell me what happened. This pisses me off, because “buying” reviews got the movie studios in trouble back in the 1990s, I think, and it was as despicably shitty then as it is now. Continue reading Liars and Cheats and Why I Hate Them

Continue reading So yes, this will be confessional.

The last three years of my life have seen some dramatic – and often traumatic changes. I could go back a fourth year that was underscored by my father’s death literally followed the day after by the death of my favourite uncle. Continue reading Something I Could Never Have
Okay, TECHNICALLY this isn’t my “new” website, as I’ve been parking the URL with a token page for a number of years.
So, this is the first blog post of the revived website. Okay? Does that work? Continue reading Steve’s First Blog Post
