Steve Karmazenuk: From the Mouths of My Cannons
Official weblog of writer Steve Karmazenuk
ABOUT ME:
I am, first and foremost, a father to three wonderful young adults.
Besides that, I’m also asexual, a lifelong writer, a Montrealer, a Canadian, cosplayer, former music journalist and op-ed writer, acoustic folk guitar student with short, clumsy fingers, amateur luthier, Generation-Xer, lover of the Oxford Comma, and defender of two spaces after a period, exclamation mark, or interrogation mark. Any sentence-ending punctuation, really.
Oh, and I’ve also been a curmudgeon as far back as recorded memory.
This Weblog serves the purposes:
First, I use this space to talk about the process of taking your completed script and self-publishing it. Simple, and straightforward enough.
Second, I also talk about my ongoing work of the moment, the book I’m currently getting ready to relaunch in early 2006, , namely They Came in Peace; a story that asks: “What if aliens invaded Earth, not to conquer, not to destroy, not to steal our planet’s resources, but to save Earth, and save Humankind…whether we liked it or not?”
Regrettably, this weblog must now also serve as a platform for citizen-journalism, in the form of my ongoing expose into the deliberate mistreatment of me by the Direction de Protection de Jeunesse; their traumatizing of me and my children, their alienating me from them, blaming me, and in general violating my rights under Section 47 of the Quebec Charter of Human Rights.

Quebec’s DPJ: Direction de la protection de la Jeunesse. My sworn enemies, blood curse laid upon them all. So, how did it happen? The DPJ […]

Do NOT tell me not to celebrate Charlie Kirk’s death. He was an Islamophobe; how many acts of anti-Islamic violence happened because of him? He […]
One month ago today, I sent a request for information to the DPJ, Quebec’s monolithic Youth Protection bureaucratic machine, to their Access to Information Request […]
